Tregan "Piikani" Crow Eagle missing

UPDATE: JULY 30 at 11:45 a.m.

Piikani Nation RCMP located human remains on July 27, with the identity of the deceased confirmed to be Tregan "Piikani" Crow Eagle who last been seen July 22.

Initial investigated the death to be suspicious and an autopsy conducted at the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Calgary on July 29 deemed the manner of death to be homicide.

Additional details are not available at this time as this is an ongoing investigation. An update will be provided when further information becomes available.

Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit are asking for public assistance in providing any information in relation to this incident or identifying those responsible.

Piikani Nation RCMP seek public assistance locating missing youth.


Sixteen-year-old Tregan "Piikani" Crow Eagle was last seen at a Brocket residence in the early morning hours of July 22, 2020.

He is described as:
  • 5'11" and 123 lbs
  • Black, shoulder-length hair, in a ponytail when last seen
  • Brown eyes
  • Wearing grey shorts, grey hoodie sweater, white socks and grey runners when last seen
There is concern for Tregan's wellbeing and Piikani RCMP would like to locate and speak with him.
