PCREMO updates and notices for March 25
Pincher Creek Emergency Management Organization continues monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic.

For current numbers in Alberta, visit the COVID19 page for geospatial numbers: https://bit.ly/33WkoJb

e also want to remind residents not to flush any wipes or paper towels.

Industrial wastewater systems, as wells as septic fields, are not equipped to handle this material as they do not break down, causing clogs in pies and putting a strain on infrastructure.

Many commercial wipes labelled as "flushable" may go down the toilet and drain fine, but hit a bend in the system and can cause major substructure damage.

Please continue to follow recommended practices and behaviours for the mutual benefit of the entire community. For the latest information for Albertans on COVID-19, including updates on government actions, visit www.alberta.ca/covid19

The local COVID-19 call-in line is toll free – 1-855-627-5365.

You can submit a compaint to Alberta Health Services and a public health inspector will look into it. https://bit.ly/3aaOavL

The Municipal District of Pincher Creek, Town of Pincher Creek and Village of Cowley offices are now closed to walk-in traffic.

Please use municipal websites, email addresses and phone numbers to contact municipal staff during this time.

Pincher Creek Emergency Services has closed its office to walk-ins. Non-emergent PCES services, such as fire permits, can be arranged via phone.
