Last weekend revealed a disturbing trend of people not exercising physical distancing and leaving garbage and human waste behind in some provincial parks.

The suspension applies to motor-vehicle access to parking lots and staging areas.

If a car is required to be left behind while using a park or public land, do not go!

$1,000 fine per incident for violating Alberta public health orders
"Anyone putting their families, their neighbours, or other Albertans at risk will face consequences," says Alberta premier Jason Kenney.

Community peace officers and police will be able to issue tickets of $1,000 per occurrence. Courts can administer fines of up to $100,000 for a first offence and up to $500,000 for a subsequent offence.
