The community outdoor pool in Blairmore officially opened on Sunday after 10 months of construction.

The pool was scheduled to open on July 2, but more time was needed for finishing touches. The main building will also receive a makeover, with renovations starting in the fall. The entire pool project is budgeted at $1.5 million.

“This is a real plus for the Crowsnest Pass,” Coun. Anctil said.
